Catamarca or San Fernando de Valle de Catamarca is the capital city of the Catamarca Province located in northwestern Argentina. It is a well-known pilgrimage site where many devout take time to visit the Church of the Virgin of the Valley, which contains a statue of Our Lady of the Valley.
