Charlottetown is and urban city and is the county seat of Queens County and the provincial capital of Prince Edward Island in Canada. It is one among the many cities in North America that was named after Queen Charlotte, the consort of King George III of England.
The city is a popular destination in eastern Canada. This is credited to its strategic location and its numerous attractions, which include the Victorian-era Houses, the Province House, the Confederation Centre of the Arts, which provides a live theater and a nationally-ranked art gallery, the Founder’s Hall Museum and several other theaters and galleries.
The summer months of June to August can be a good time to visit the city where one can experience a warm climate and take part in the annual Charlottetown Festival.
