Changzhou is a prefecture level city, situated in southern Jiangsu Province of China. It is located on the southern banks of the Yangtze River and in the affluent Yangtze Delta, with a history of continuous prosperity that dates back from 221 BC until present. This prosperity of the city is credited to its industrial centers that produce textile, do food processing and engineering, and manufacture high technologies.

In terms of tourism, the city is famous for its China Dinosaur Park that contains fossils and dinosaur bones, thrilling rides, and a giant panda and sea lions. There is also the Tianning Temple, the Hong Mei Park, and its sunken city.

Leaving this historic and highly industrialized city is not complete without tasting its Sesame Candy, pickled radish and other famous snacks. Combs, silk embroidery and carved green bamboos are also good souvenirs to take home.
