Casablanca or Spanish for white house is the capital city of the Greater Casablanca Region and is located in western Morocco on the Atlantic Ocean. With a population of over 3 million people, Casablanca is considered Morocco’s largest city. It is also home to Morocco’s chief port and main industrial facilities, which makes it a center of economic activity.

Casablanca was a Muslim kingdom before it was conquered by other tribes, France, and other European nations. It then became a booming city because of its wool industry and was also made as a meeting place of leaders of countries involved in the Second World War.

There are also many landmarks that depict western and eastern culture in the city. The Hassan II Mosque and the Elk Hank Lighthouse are popular destinations that can best be visited during the warm summer months of June to August.
