Bushehr is a city located near the Persian Gulf and is home to the chief seaport of Iran. In addition to having the best port in the country, this city is also famous for its nuclear power plant that was built in cooperation with Russia.

The city has a rich history. It includes possessing the remains of settlements of the Elamite which were found in the southern part of the city and dates back to 3000 BCE. Evidences of the influence of its famous British conquerors can also be seen all over the city including influences of the African culture.

A visitor of the city would enjoy bringing some products of from its industries as souvenirs like its Sheraz wine, rugs and metalworks. Fertilizers, textile and cement are also being manufactured.
