Besalampy is considered to be a commune as well as a town which can be located in the western coast of Madagascar. The town is also part of the district of its namesake as well as being part if the Melaky region which is in the Mahajanga province.

Many tourists visit the area because of the availability of the airport which makes it have easy access. The area is also served with a maritime harbor which is great for those who are into fishing since the area has an abundant amount of fish.

Another thing to do in the area is to hop on a 4x4 vehicle and just do your own safari of the vicinity. There are also a variety of animals which can be seen in the fields as well as the famous Madagascar lemur.
