Balmaceda is a quaint village which can be found in the southeastern part of the city of Coyhaique which is the Aisen Region in Chile. The village is pretty easy to reach because of the existence of their very own airport which is why there is a steady flow of tourists in the area.

The area around the village is much forested so it has a lush green color to it. The area is also surrounded by lots of lakes, river, as well as several National reserves and National Parks.
