Auckland is considered to be the largest metropolitan region in New Zealand. The city is also known as the “City of Sails” due to the fact that there are a large number of yachts and sail boats that lines the harbor and the gulf of Auckland.
One of the first places you have to visit in the city is Auckland war memorial museum which houses a lot of historical artifacts as well as all sorts of art forms.
