Arkhangelsk is considered to be a regional center which can be located in the northwestern area of Russia. The town is banked by the Northern Dvina River which is abundant with marine life.

One of the best places to visit in Arkhangelsk is the City center which is the heart and soul of the city. Outside of the center you can also visit the Solombala Island where you can find the monument of Peter the Great.

Another great area to visit in the city is the wooden Arkhangelsk which shows the old wooden buildings that were present since the 1500's. The most beautiful of these buildings can be found at the Chumbarova-Luchinskogo Street which is also called the museum street.
