Araguaina is a municipality in the state of Tocantins in Brazil. The place is known for its rich culture and history. Araguaina is said to be inhabited in the past by a tribe of Indians called the Carajas. The remnants of this Indian tribe can still be seen in the banks of the Araguaina River.
