Antalaha is an area or a commune which can be located in the northern area of Madagascar and is a part of the Sava Region in Antsitanana province.

The area is a prime location where you can spot one of the 99 species of recognizable lemurs as well as the carnivorous Fossa. This is a good area for scientists and animal fanatics to visit because Antalaha is also a bountiful source for wildlife.

Another main attraction of the area is the maritime harbor where you can swim and surf all you want. Topnotch surfers come to this place to test out the waves.

Majority of the people there are farmers that take pride in their crops of vanilla, cloves and rice.
