Amderma is an urban settlement located in Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Russia. It is also near the Naryan-Mar which is in the coast of the Kara Sea. One of the reasons that make people want to visit the place is due to the amount of arctic animal species sightings that can be found in the region.

Marine biologists as well as bear experts and tourists alike want to visit this site because there are lots of polar bears in the area to study and see. The great thing about the polar bears in this area is that they have already been declared a distinct taxon which is associated with the region of the Barret Sea. Nenet language is the official language used in the area.
