Ambler is a city found in Alaska, USA. The city is located in the northwestern part of the arctic borough. The city was actually named from a doctor who died of starvation after being trapped in his ship in the area around 1881 and his name was Dr. James M. Ambler.

A lot of tourists come to this area because of the many varieties of game and fish. One of the most famous sports in Ambler area is ice fishing which is participated by both tourists and locals alike.
