Adler/Sochi is a resort city in Krasnodar Krai just north of Russia’s southern border. It spans along the Black Sea shores and is framed by the majestic snowy peaks of the Caucasus Mountains. With a population of 395,012, the Adler/Sochi city is the selected venue of the 2014 XXII Olympic Winter Games. Adler/Sochi is distinctive among larger cities of Russia as possessing subtropical resort qualities.
